Kelsey & Nick Shaw

These days, rarely do I get to experience a new venue. After DJing over 550 weddings, I’ve been pretty much everywhere within DFW. However, this weekend I finally had the pleasure of working at the beautiful Stone Crest Venue out in McKinney and I loved every minute of it!

First off, I am always excited to work with the ever amazing Angela of Pretty Little Planners . Time and time again she has proven to be capable of amazing things and this weekend was no different. It was a smash success across the board!

We started off the day before the ceremony with a super cool classic Jeep converted to serve champagne and beer from Fetch Me Champagne. Makeup by Krista Ann was the artist of the day and handled the Hair and Make Up for the ladies.

Fleurs De France Floral put together all the gorgeous arrangements, and Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant provided all the amazing aromas of enchiladas and tamales! We then got to enjoy the AMAZING cake by The Cake Stand.

I was so busy working that I didn't snap very many photos but I'm sure Cactus & Coast Photography got all the good stuff and will share with us soon enough! All the rentals were provided by Beautiful Event Rentals, and beautiful they were!

It was definitly a hot one in Texas this weekend and I knocked out this entire bottle of water shortly after the ceremony, lol. That beast was 101.4 fluid ounces!

I snapped one last photo of Nick and Kelsey sharing their secret last dance at the end of the night where I played "I Get to Love You" by Ruelle. This was a surprise song that Kelsey picked out and was an excellent ending to a perfect day.

What a blast it was to share this excellent day with Nick and Kelsey and I was happy to be their wedding DJ!

Barbara & Quinten Nagg

We hit the road this weekend and made the trek down to Old Bison Ranch way down south just past Forreston, Texas for Barbara & Quinten Nagg’s intimate wedding. They had less than 40 of their closest friends and family join them for the special occasion and it couldn’t have been more perfect! 

I HAD to pull over and snap this photo about 15 minutes out from the venue... Looks like something from a Windows XP desktop, lol.

Somewhere I made a wrong turn and found this creepy setting straight out of a zombie flick...

alas, I’ve found the venue!

The ceremony was beautiful under the old oak tree overlooking the pond. The weather even cut us a break and felt great! It was my first time to work alongside Brittney Wesley and her team and I'm super excited to see the photos that Life's Enchanted Moments Photography captured!

Obviously, one of the best parts of the night; the cake cutting! 

They booked our uplighting and Motion Monogram package. This design is called "Growing Together" and it turned out amazing!

it was a great ending to a great day, and I was so happy to be their Wedding DJ!

Jennifer & Preston White

We celebrated Jennifer & Preston White's wedding out at Piazza In The Village which if you didn't know, has a pretty unique feature of live streaming the wedding ceremony for out of town friends and family that cant make it to the wedding which I think is totally rad!

I got to work alongside Kirstie Leslie once more from Captured In This Moment who knocked out all amazing photos and made new friends with Brandon & Tristin Neal from Radiance Wedding Films who shot the epic video footage, all of which I can't wait to see.

Krystal Powell at The Kreative Consultant did an fabulous job as always with her beautiful floral arrangements and was a team player and even provided tons of flowers for the Cake-Aholics to decorate the AMAZING cake with. And just look at that grooms cake...Ballin!

I always love having the couples share their Sweetheart Dance alone in the building, its nice to give them that last moment of their big day to slow everything down and soak it all in. 

I had a blast wrapping up this weekend with Jennifer & Preston and it was an absolute pleasure being a part of their big day!

Amanda & Steve Avalos

HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO!

We partied hard this Saturday with Amanda & Steve out at the amazing Villagio Resorts in Burleson. The weather was a bit hot at first but definitely cooled down once the night set in. The Ceremony was held outside on the patio overlooking their beautiful little lake and the bridal party looked like movie stars rocking Blush, Burgundy, Dusty Blue and Navy Blue. Krista Dusenberry and Kelsie Kelso handled all the ladies Hair and Make Up and did a fantastic job!

Joche Westmoreland and his team at joche W. events put together all the decor and held the night together with the planning expertise of Tina. They really do breathtaking floral arrangements, I wish I would have snagged a photo to share.

There was an amazing Mariachi Band they played throughout the Cocktail hour and a portion of dinner but I didn’t get their name. I’ll update the blog if/when I get that info.

I was especially excited to work alongside one of my favorite photographer/Videographers, the Husband & Wife Duo Brittany & Jeremy Bay with Bay Productions. (At the time of writing this, if you take a look at my website header video, they shot most of that footage.

Olivers fine foods handled the noms for the night, I didn't get a chance to try it but everything looked delicious.

#tagmebro was the Photo Booth entertainment for the night and was busy the whole way through. See: My awkward session, lol

And lastly, the deserts for the evening were provided by Confections in cake and had everyone drooling.

All in all, it was a wonderful evening filled with over 3 insane hours of a full dance floor thanks to yours truly!

I moved one of our wireless speakers outside at the end of the night so they could share their private last dance out under the stars and it was worth the effort to see them happy (:

Samantha & Taylor Abrego

Audrie Dollins from Sweet Memory Photography was kind enough to let us feature these amazing photos of Samantha & Taylor and we cannot wait to see the wedding pics once they're done with editing!

Forerunner provided not only the soundtrack of the evening but Samantha & Taylor even had our beautiful wooden photo booth capture the fun of the night! We had DJ Nathan & Photo Booth Attendant extraordinaire Dawson taking great care of their big day out at Morgan Creek Barn in Aubrey, Tx

DJ Nathan took a moment to hop into the Forerunner Entertainment Wooden Photo Booth to snap a few photos in front of our premium "Bubbly Pink" Mermaid Sequin Backdrop. Our booth lets you instantly email or text message your session directly to your phone to share on social media and friends!

Gotta love those dark and blurry cell phone photos, lol!

Nathan had a guest help out and snag a quick photo of him with the couple to end the perfect night. It was an absolute pleasure providing our photo booth and DJ Services for Samantha & Taylor's big day (:

Jessica & Ryan DeJohn

The Gentlemen of the wedding party wore Navy Blue suits, while the ladies wore Blush / Dusty Rose dresses with make up by LB Rosser. The wedding was adorned across the room with Gold & Copper Decor.

Shout out to this young gentleman in the white. Those dance moves were unrivaled, lol!

We had some gorgeous weather today with a high of only 74 degrees! Jessica & Ryan tied the knot out at the beautiful The Room On Main deep in the heart of Dallas and it couldn't have been more perfect!

The Flowers arrangement's provided by Lizzie Bee's Flower Shoppe were gorgeous. Dinner was a combination of Mini Slider Burgers and a Taco Bar provided by CN Catering. Deserts were to die for with the Cake by Elena's Cakes (Swear the Brides cake tasted like a designer Twinky!) and there were even cookies on every table that were not only amazing but also made by the uber talented Bride (Jessica's Bake Shop) as a wedding favor for all the guests!

Some of the fun was also captured by the in house photo booth provided by The Room On Main of which I took part of, but I can't wait to see the photo and video by Lorena Burns Photography and Bella Flora Films!

Huge congrats to Jessica & Ryan, we wish you the absolute best out of life and were so happy to be your Wedding DJ!

Jayme & Michael Drozd

it was a gorgeous day out at Stonebridge Weddings & Event Center for Jayme & Michael. They tied the knot under one of the “Top Ten” largest Live Oak trees in Texas! Stonebridge is actually one of the most gorgeous venues I've personally DJed at. Expansive meadows of perfect green grass, along with a peaceful little river flowing from the pond on through to the other side of the property.

It was such a fun and energetic party the whole day through and I just about died laughing when I saw these oversized cutouts of the bride and groom's heads out on the dance floor!

My favorite feature is their giant patio with trees providing plenty of shade that extends off a hill concealing a hidden area underneath featuring some swings to lay and enjoy the scenery and weather. 

Another sweaty and awkward selfie along side some beautiful humans, lol. It was such a blast and an honor to be a part of their big day. (:
